Ocha-no-Sawadaen Co., Ltd. is a long-established tea company in Kagoshima, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year (as of May 7, 2021).  We sell our own processed and manufactured products wholesale to famous local retailers; Taiyo , Thank You and Glade.  Our own 6 tenant's stores are also placed in those retail shops. One of the pillars of the company's business is its local focus.
 

Our company has deep ties with farmers in Kagoshima, and the president Masayoshi Sawada (47) is willing to go to the production area himself to witness tea production and work with farmers on new challenges. The chairman Ryouzou Sawada, 70, also serves as the chairman of the Kagoshima Tea Commercial Cooperative Association and will start in his second term from fiscal 2021. We have also obtained FSSC22000 certificate and Organic JAS certificate.

1. We will produce safe, secure, and clean tea that meets the needs of our customers; 2. We will continuously improve our work system to produce delicious tea; 3. We will work to "improve productivity," "improve the lives of our employees," and "strengthen our organizational structure.
As our food safety policy, we have set the above three points and will continue to challenge various things to further develop Sawadaen, which was founded by the late Kenji Sawada (104 years old).
